Commercialisation KickStart
What is Commercialisation KickStartTM
Commercialisation Kick StartTM
is a tailored technology transfer and commercialisation
training program.
It has been designed for anyone
involved in technology transfer, but particularly those from the
research community, including business managers, researchers,
administrators, and project leaders.
Tailored Course Content
Each Commercialisation KickStartTM
program is tailored to meet the needs of a particular
client. For each client, the client’s needs are identified,
alternatives and options are canvassed, preferences identified,
and a course is designed that is responsive to those needs, and
those preferences, and it is that specific course designed for
that client that is delivered.
Some clients prefer a one day
workshop. Other clients prefer an intensive four or five day
workshop, where many issues are dealt with in detail.
Some clients prefer a lecture
format. Other clients prefer an interactive workshop format, with
lots of practical hands on exercises and participant activities.
Some clients are very knowledgeable
about tech transfer. Other clients are elsewhere on the learning
curve. Programs can therefore range from the "beginner’s
guide" to the "advanced".
All of these factors will affect
the way that a Commercialisation KickStartTM program
is designed and delivered.
Duration
Courses can be delivered in half
days, full days, through to a 4 or 5 day program.
