At the heart of BioInsight™ are Biotechnology and Medical Device company databases. As they contain largely private company details this information will be difficult to get from other sources. Importantly, you won't need to collect or maintain the data for yourself and our skilled staff ensure the data is collected in a consistent way.
About the Databases
Biotechnology
Our Australian biotechnology database has the benefit of data that has been collected consistently and robustly since 1970. The database contains information on almost 400 core biotechnology companies and a further 170 companies that have an interest in biotechnology. We now also have a database of 76 New Zealand biotechnology companies. This has been collected using the same fields as the Australian database as far as possible and hence the two data sets can be validly compared.
Medical Device
The Australian Medical Device database was set up three years ago in response to growing interest in this segment of the market. It currently has around 600 companies listed and this number is growing all the time.
Data Quality, Sources and Analysis
Our quality system ensures changes to company information are tracked and that, at all times, the data is being maintained consistently.
Information is collected directly from individual companies and by scanning public sources. These sources include specialist industry journals and publications.
The core value of BioInsight™ is the ability of clients to track trends and request analysis of key industry data. While we collect general company contact information, we do not provide labels or mailing lists.
Data Analysis
The way the data are analysed will depend on your information needs. We will work with you to specify your requirements and to make sure you get the most out of the data available.
